The new fee disclosure regulations become effective July 1, 2012 for plan sponsors and September 1, 2012 for participants. You as the plan sponsor are required to know all fees charged by all service providers earning $1000 or more and determine if those fees are reasonable. If a service provider refuses to supply this information you are required to replace them.
